Nital & Chris’s Engagement
November 7, 2008 at 7:54 pm | In Uncategorized | Leave a CommentI met Nital and Chris through a DEAR friend and previous bride of mine, Jennifer Marr. I originally met Jennifer by being her wedding photographer (which is how I have met some of my BEST friends:) and I am SO excited to not only be able to shoot Nital and Chris’s wedding next year, but to be able to see Jennifer and Mike there as guests at the wedding! It is going to be SO fun!
So Nital and Chris came to this shoot ALL dressed to go to a party afterwards…little did they know that we were going to get ridiculously soaked! The weather that night was SO bizarre. The tide was so low that the sand looked like wet glass and it created this gorgeous pink reflection when the sun set, yet the waves were large. We shot the whole shoot by the pier in Santa Monica and had a great time. I LOVE shooting engagement shoots, because I get to be in a gorgeous beach setting and I feel like I really get to know the couple during this time, not to mention that it REALLY helps to get a couple comfortable in front of a camera. Chris showed up at the shoot DREADING it. Apparently he hates having his photo taken, but by the end of the shoot he was like, “Let’s go on that lifeguard tower and take some photos!” TOO FUNNY! But to his credit, YES, those shots were very cool:) Here are a few of the ones they plan on using for their “Save The Date” cards.
